With over 40 million active users per month, Lolapps has the largest network of social games and applications on Facebook. Founded in 2008, we took applications to the next level by building the quiz, gift and game creator platforms that provided user-generated, customizable applications. Due to our viral expertise and our success with these platforms, we have added the development of Facebook games to our slate and are the fastest growing social gaming company. Our versatile game creator platform, no longer available publicly, is being used by our creative team to develop games like Champions Online, Yakuza Lords, Diva Life and Band of Heroes. We are also working with select external partners.

Facebook Announces Winners of French and Spanish Application Contests
1st Prize: Mariposa Mensajeras
Mariposa Mensajeras (Butterfly Messengers) is a virtual gifting app where users can send different kinds of butterflies to their friends.
In case you haven’t heard, Facebook is growing a lot internationally. And in order to promote the development of localized applications, Facebook has been holding international application contests. Today, Facebook announced the winners of its French Application Contest and Spanish Application Contest. Each of the Grand Prize winners took home 5000 Euros, while the 1st prize winner took home 3000 Euros and 2nd prize took 2000.
Kavin Stewart
Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder
Kavin has led the company since January 2008 from zero to 40million monthly unique visitors across various social networks. Prior to Lolapps Kavin held multiple positions from wide ranges of programming to product management. He also held a position startup PM position at Offermatica which was acquired by Omniture. Kavin holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley.
Annie Chang
Head of Products and Co-founder
Prior to Lolapps, Annie held various technology roles, as an engineer at Adobe (Advanced Technology Labs), followed by holding a startup position at BitTorrent as a product manager. Annie holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley.
Brian Rue
Head of Technology and Co-founder
Brian drives the company's technical vision and architecture. He is currently on leave from Stanford University, where he studied finance and computer science.
Kamo Asatryan
Head of Monetization and Co-founder
Kamo Asatryan is a co-founder at Lolapps and is in charge of monetization. Prior to Lolapps, Kamo was an SEO consultant. He also played lots of chess and conducted nanotechnology research at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Kamo likes to practice martial arts and dance. He speaks three languages and also enjoys smiling. Sometimes he drinks grapefruit juice.
AJ Cantu
Head of EngineeringBefore coming to Lolapps, AJ wore many senior software development hats. Previously, AJ, held a role as a Development Manager at Marchex. AJ also holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a M.S. in Computer Science from Stanford University.
Manu Rekhi
Head of Strategy, Product Marketing and Corp DevManu oversees the strategy and marketing of the company. Prior to Lolapps, he was a product manager at Google, where he worked on Gmail, Calendar, Orkut, Open Social and ads. Prior to, Manu held senior product management roles at WineGlobe, 123 Signup, and AudioHighway. In his spare time, Manu is on the board of advisors at j2play (acquired by EA), Games2Win, Sapplica, Mentez and Auciti. Manu holds a B.S from Boston University and a joint MBA from Columbia Business School and Walter Haas School of Business.
Arjun Sethi
Head of Business Development and Partner OpsPrior to Lolapps, Arjun was the CEO and founder of ROFLplay, a social gaming startup which was acquired by Lolapps in July 2009. Prior to Lolapps, Arjun consulted and held management roles at KRKlabs, Facebook, PlaySpan, Carlyle Group, and Advanced Tuning Products. In his spare time, Arjun is a financial policy advisor for select private equity firms and holds an advisory board position at iSocket. Arjun holds a B.A , B.S in History, Economics from University of Maryland, College Park.

Polaris Venture Partners is a partnership of experienced venture capital investors and technology executives. Michael Hirshland, General Partner and lead investor in Lolapps, has been an excellent partner in our growth story. Mike also serves as a Director with a number of other high growth web businesses including Automattic (Wordpress) and Quantcast, is a cofounder of The Start Project, and leads Polaris’ Dogpatch Labs initiative in San Francisco.

Ron Conway, SV Angel
Ronald Conway has been an active angel investor for over 15 years. He was the Founder and Managing Partner of the Angel Investors LP funds (1998-2005) whose investments included: Google, Ask Jeeves, Paypal, Good Technology, Opsware, and Brightmail. He was recently named #6 in Forbes Magazine Midas list of top "deal-makers" in 2008 and is actively involved in numerous philanthropic endeavors. Ron was with National Semiconductor Corporation in marketing positions (1973-1979), Altos Computer Systems, as a co-founder, President and CEO, (1979-1990) and took Altos Public on Nasdaq in 1982, and Personal Training Systems (PTS) as CEO (1991-1995). PTS was acquired by SmartForce/SkillSoft (Nasdaq SKIL).??Ron has served/serves on Boards/Advisory Boards including: Plaxo (acquired by Comcast), Photobucket (acquired by Fox), Digg.com, Bright Mail, Ask Jeeves, Rupture (acquired by EA), Associated Content, Facebook, RockYou, PurePlay, ScanScout, Zappos, Trulia, Simply Hired, StumbleUpon, and Anchor Intelligence (co-founder).
Philanthropically, Ron is Vice Chairman of the UCSF Medical Foundation in SF, Board Member of The Tiger Woods Foundation, SF Homeless Connect, and on the Benefit Committee of Ronald McDonald House, College Track, and the Blacked Eyed Peas-PeaPod Academy Foundation.
Ariel Poler
Ariel is an Internet entrepreneur and investor. He was the founder and CEO of IPRO, the first web analytics company. Ariel was founder and CEO of Topica, an early provider of email marketing & community solutions. He was founding board member of Kana Software, a pioneering provider of CRM solutions; Chairman of LinkExchange, one of the first online ad networks, and Chairman of StumbleUpon, a leading content discovery service. Ariel spends most of his time helping Internet start-ups.
He currently serves on the board of directors of Freedom Financial, a provider of consumer financial services and leads; Lolapps, the largest social network applications developer, and SpeedDate, an online dating service on social networks. He is the CEO of TextMarks, which is enabling the “long tail” of SMS publishing and communications. Ariel’s angel investments include RockYou, Flixster, AdMob, Causes, Slideshare, Kongregate, Xobni, Kidlandia, Outright and NexTag. Ariel holds a B.S. in Mathematics with Computer Science from MIT and an MBA from Stanford University. He is originally from Venezuela and lives in San Francisco with his wife and three children.
